Lightweight and fun!
Firstly I want to start by mentioning that this bike is super lightweight. That is important especially for toddlers to be able to carry or maneuver it. The tires are not filled with air, they are hard non-slip foam, which makes it super easy for my 3-year old to ride it in the house. Perfect when the weather outside calls for staying indoors. And when riding outdoors they have a good grip as well. It arrived securely packaged and all parts were present. The assembly of the bike was simple and quick, and took less than 5 minutes, without any additional tools. I am a visual learner so I did have to do a quick internet search for a video on how to assemble it and that helped make assembling it easier for me. Adjusting the seat and handlebars is a bit tricky because you have to align them straight before tightening them but it’s not complicated at all. In my opinion, this bike is a bit on the smaller side so I feel it wouldn’t work as well for a kid above age 4. My son is in the higher percentile for height though so I’m going based on that. I got this bike to help my toddler practice his balance holding the handlebars so it would help him when the time comes to get him a bike with pedals. The bell is a fun bonus as well! Overall I am very happy with this balance bike and my toddler is too!

    I had written this review (below), but then I got a letter from the owner of the company, explaining why they chose to put solid tires on the bike (the weight of inflatable tires), and now I understand. Also, my grandson is able to use it in the house, because of these tires, which makes him happy. They are not nearly as slippery as I had been told before. Therefore, I love the bike even more than I did before, and I am raising the review to 5 stars. Believe me, you will be very satisfied with the weight and the style of this bike!

    This bike is really as light as you imagine, which means for us that we can take it along to the park, etc., important since we don’t have a sidewalk in our neighborhood. Within a few minutes my barely 4 year old was scooting along with the other kids, and felt he had a big kids bike he could handle! It was a very easy assembly. I only knocked off a star for the fact that I would have preferred inflatable tires which are much less slippery. But the 4 lb weight trumped that for me and we are very happy!

    I bought a Strider 12 sport for my 3 year old granddaughter and the croco for my 18 month old grandson. Altho these both are awesome bikes hands down the croco was a better choice. The kids both like the croco better! It is lighter in weight, dosen't get dirty as fast, rides smooth and the price is way better! If you're torn like I was as to which on to buy go with the CROCO... you won't be disappointed! I should have listened to the few reviews that said this and wish more reviews would have pointed me to the croco! I felt impelled to write this in my review to hopfully help others. I'm not sure what the hype on the Strider is all about...way over priced! I should have gotten two Croco's and saved myself some $

    We had a shipping issue with missing parts and Marie from TheCroco was a pleasure to deal with, even including a little gift for our troubles and expeditiously getting us our missing parts.

    On to the bike - this has to be the best one on the market that we have come across. It is super lightweight and durable. We had a smaller balance bike for our 4 year old that he grew out of, and this one is more effective for his size, and way lighter. The tires, frame, and parts are all super durable. Our little one loves it.
