    I purchased two of these for my twins and they are cute and well made!!

    As for the lack of instructions, my husband figured out why the assembly is difficult. You need to take off the rubber ring off of the front wheel piece, and connect it to the top rubber piece on the handle bars. Then it fits together seamlessly.

    My 2 yo will like it BUT: the plastic bushing on the top of the frame, where the handlebars go through, does not go into the frame. I think there's supposed to be a flange for it (similar to whats on the bottom) that is completely missing. If you slip the bushing on how the instructions imply, the handlebars and fork will wobble all over. So I spent an hour with a few different metal files and rasps to take the diameter of the plastic bushing down about a quarter inch and pounded it in. Now I have it together, it seems ok. Also, the description says "iron" frame. I don't know that they think iron is, but this bike is aluminum.

    The instructions (as many other reviewers have stated) are useless. We bought this for our grandson's birthday and I'm so glad my husband decided to put it together before gifting it to him. After disregarding the so called directions that came with it (putting it together the way it said would result in a bike that would fall apart), he was able to get it together to work. Hopefully it will hold up well enough when used. Would NOT recommend this bike.
