Why are balance bikes good?

Balance bikes don’t have any pedals, so kids only have to focus on one thing – 

balancing. This makes the learning process a whole lot easier for them. Balance bikes 

also let kids use their feet to stop, steer and turn around, giving them more 

control, as well as the confidence to keep riding

How high should the seat be?

Proper seat height should have the child sitting on the saddle, with feet flat on the 

ground, with a slight bend in the knees. For long distance striding on smooth 

surfaces, you can adjust slightly up. For obstacles, tricks, and off-road riding, the 

saddle should be adjusted for slightly more bend in the knees.

How are balance bikes measured?

Select a pair of their best-fitting pants and measure from the crotch to the bottom. 

The number of inches, to the nearest half-inch, is the inseam length. Have them stand 

in their stocking feet with their feet slightly apart and back flat to a wall. 

Measure the length/distance between the floor and their crotch.
