This saddle is comfortable and looks really good (retro) and is priced right. The springs make a little noise going over bumps, but it isn't excessive and they are doing their job soaking up the bumps. A light coating of lithium grease helped quiet the seat up. it was also easy to install.

    I went rogue and upgraded my bike. I desperately needed something to absorb some of the harshnesses of the road. This seat was great; however, due to myself going rogue, the installation was a hassle. The seat is pretty much the best you can get outside of buying American made. I mean, it's not a $200 seat but dollar for dollar you get a substantial value. Installation was a mess only in my case because I had a different mount and needed a seat post; also, I replaced some of the nuts with nylon nuts and my seat post clamp. So your situation may differ, but overall I'm happy with it. If money is not as much a factor, you need to find something handmade, ideally American.
