I just started doing long distance touring and have done a bunch of research on products that I might need. Some of this stuff is really pricey so do your homework!
When I first saw this in the box I knew I had made the right decision. Looks, feels and functions great. I loaded about 50 pounds first trip on this rack alone as I hadn't bought front low riders yet. Careful now. Putting so much weight just at the rear is ok on the road but try dragging your rig up stairs!
Anyway for steel it is super light. For strength unrivaled. For positioning options, both to the bike and gear on the rack, this will work for just about everyone.
