- Reviewed in the United States on March 12, 2014The Bushwacker Cycle Packs are well made and match my Schwinn Point Beach perfectly! I had to modify the brackets (bend them slightly) for them to fit the rack that came on my Schwinn Point Beach. The slots on the rack were a little too wide but, the brackets on the Bushwhacker Cycle Packs are plenty long enough to bend to fit. I had them modified in about 10 mins or less using a pair of pliers. The tubular racks will accept this pack without the brackets needing to be modified. The stamped sheet metal ones will require the brackets to be modified just so, you know. They are worth the effort and look good on my bike. If you are looking for a well made pannier pack these are what you need. They come with a lifetime warranty from Bushwhacker as well!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 20, 2019Gosh I miss my old L.L. Bean panniers; they got stolen. These attach easily but not the best quality and not nearly as roomy as the L.L. Bean ones. The outer cords that go around the entire bag just get in the way. I took the top cord off.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 23, 2019My second time purchasing only because i sold my first set a couple years ago. Which leads me to have a better and possibly more thorough review than some.
My first set was purchased in 2015. The nylon quality was slightly thicker. The 2019 version feels flimsy yet lighter. Weight doesn’t really matter, Just an observation.
Much of the build is the same however the older version was more square like the amazon picture and had a reflective strip in front. Look at my pics.
Now all that said, I own the really nice and fancy stuff. Brook, ortlieb, salsa, Timbuktu etc. (I love bags!) ...and this isn’t your touring or serious bag. The price reflects it. The quality is meh but that’s exactly why i buy them. I don’t worry about them. They match my current build and carry the little extras i May pick up along my day at the grocery or out n about. If i want to make serious moves i grab my nicer gear. It’s that simple. These will do the basic. The quality may be down a bit on the current models but no serious plans for these, but to grab and go on light work and errand trips.
They attach well, and have better for and adjustments than previous year models. The first pic is the 2015 version fit vs the 2019. You’ll see the shape and subtle detail differences.

Images in this review - Reviewed in the United States on October 16, 2014Having used these the past summer as my front bags I think they are pretty darn good and they do what they are intended for. The bags are easy to put on and take off when stopped for the night. I put my food and necessities in them so I don't have to dig through my other bags when I stop. They are not weather proof, however I put all my things in plastic bags so this is not an issue.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 29, 2016(Update)
Initially, I was excited about these panniers, as you can read below, but not so much now. I got back from a long vacation and pulled them back out of the closet and after loading up for work I grabbed the handle strap and it ripped right out of the bag! When I looked closer at the strap end, it was only sewn into the seam of the bag and not reinforced with extra length or stitching. They didn't even seal it on the end with heat to prevent the sticking from pulling right through the cut end of the fabric. Thus, I have to downgrade my review and overall lack of faith in the construction of the bags now. I still maintain 2 stars because the mounting system is rock solid.
I just received these the other night and I am quite pleased with them. They are not an Arkel or Brooks pannier, but again, they don't carry the price of your first born either. My wife and I bought a pair of these and the equally affordable BV Quick Release large panniers. I've gotta say that the construction and mounting of these are far superior. The canvas is not Cordura but a respectable thickness that feels like it could take a beating and some wear. The back plate is surprisingly thick and sturdy plastic and the mounting system is robust and bombproof, easily adaptable to most any rack setup.
My only qualm is the size. They are not big by any means nor do they expand but it is nice if you plan to carry heavy loads or want to keep things tight and together without shifting around. I CAN confirm that my 2013 macbook air DOES fit in the pannier just fine with a decently sized padded sleeve around it. Larger laptops may face issues though. I plan to use the bags for commuting and touring after work and on the weekends. One pannier will snugly hold my computer, folders, and office things for the day, I could probably strap a jacket to the outside, and the other will be for supplies, clothes, etc.
Final verdict, a solid pair of budget panniers. Know what you are needing and dont expect a pro-grade bag but definitely fits the bill for the budget range.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 1, 2020Not much to dislike about these bags. I prefer roll top but I am running these bags on a rear rack on a bike with slightly shorter chainstays and even with big feet my heels don't clip the bag. Definitely a budget friendly option to some of the higher end bags, however, if you ride in the rain a bunch or are riding around a lot of water, it might be a good idea for a secondary waterproof bag.

Images in this review - Reviewed in the United States on July 2, 2015I always used a backpack but after using these, I will never go back unless I am on a rackless bike. These seem to be well made with the exception of the zipper pulls. Do yourself a favor and immediately replace those with paracord or something else. That being said they stay on well, go on and off easily and have a handle on top for carrying. Material is a little on the thin side but the stitching is very good. They say there are warranted for life. Update: Had these for just over a year and holes are wearing through the bottoms. I carry no sharp objects, just a heavy Ulock, bike tools and a jacket usually. Contacted the company by telephone and was given a fake AOL email address to submit photos of the damage. Checked my paperwork that came with the bags and also sent an email to which no one has responded. Bags ok for short term disposables. Company seems to be s***e.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good looking bike paniers
Wish they were constructed with heavier more durable material. Not really waterproof. Great looking and easy to strongly secure to bike rack. Good value for the money. Really great looking, in my opinion.
