It's a decent size bag, with a big main compartment and several smaller pockets around the outside. I keep my little tool kit, mini tire pump, spare tubes, camera, wallet and phone, couple of drinks, and a sandwich in here. Plus a few other doo-dads in the little pockets.
It's pretty sturdy, a thick canvas construction. Not sure if it's waterproof or just water resistant, haven't had it out in the rain yet.
The straps for attaching it are a little... odd. You might need to get a bit creative about how to attach it to your luggage rack, depending what model rack you have. But I managed it, and it's still stable in position after a whole season of riding. Unfortunately I had to attach it in such a way that now I can't remove it very easily. It was originally supposed to be "easy release" to make it a portable bag that you can just unstrap it off the rack and take it with you when you park your bike. But sadly, not with my rack configuration. I mean, I could technically do it, but it would be SUCH A PAIN every time I try to take it off or put it back on. So I'm just using it as a "permanent attachment" to my bike.
I recommend putting some 3M reflective tape on it for added visibility, especially if you do some night riding.
